An Introduction

Welcome to my blog; my page. On this site I share my thoughts, views, and issues within the EC World.

My name is Allison Chung-Curling and I’m currently a graduate student at Walden University.

About Me:

  • I am a mother of two boys, 9yrs and 6yrs.
  • I work with children ages birth to 3 that on the spectrum and behavioral challenges.

In my spare time, I like to make plant-based soap and body products. I like to sew, bake, and help out where needed.

To get a better understanding of why I decided to blog:

  • For starters, I’m always on the computer. I enjoy typing out my thoughts and having people give feedback on how I can better the/my community.
  • Some of the topics that I plan to talk and touch on are: Issues within the EC World. What are the barriers that children, parents, and family face on a day to day basis?
  • Through my blog, I would love to bridge the gap between teacher, child, parent[s], other family members, and members in the/my community.
  • Throughout the next year, I would hope to accomplish a better understanding of how each view and perspective from parent, child, and teacher can help solve the barriers and issues that are faced. And, as we learn, my hope is to evolve as new information is brought forth.

As you read and learn more about the contexts of this matter, my prayer is that we can grow together to solve and bridge the gap that we tend to overlook.
